National Committee

The National committee is the apex body of the Indian chamber of education and research. It consists of eminent educationists, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and civil society representatives from across the country. The National committee is responsible for:

• Setting the vision, mission, objectives, and policies of the Indian chamber of education and research.
• Overseeing the functioning and performance of the regional and sectoral committees, sub-committees, and working groups of the Indian chamber of education and research.
• Approving the action plan, and report of the Indian chamber of education and research.
• Representing the Indian chamber of education and research at the national and international forums and platforms related to education and research.
• Providing guidance and support to the members and stakeholders of the Indian chamber of education and research.
• Providing guidance and support to the members and stakeholders of the Indian chamber of education and research.

The current composition of the National committee is as follows:

• Prof. P C K Rao
  Dr. (Prof) P C K Rao, currently associated as a Full-Professor (Leadership & Project management) in the College of Leadership and Governance, Ethiopian Civil Service University. He is a seasoned professor in the field of Management having taught at various global universities during the past four decades and authored number of text books and also published published research papers in high indexed international journals. He has guided 28 PhD students to date and continuing to undertake projects at interdisciplinary domains to facilitate cross-border talents.
• Dr. S.S.Hashmi
  Dr. S.S.Hashmi is a distinguished scholar, author, poet and former member of the Steering Committee of the Planning Commission of India. He has written 37 books on poetry and literature, covering topics such as ghazal, modern poetry, literary criticism and Indian culture. He has received more than 100 awards and honors for his contributions to literature and Poetry. He is also a prominent figure in the social and cultural spheres. Dr.Hashmi is widely respected for his erudition and eloquence and creativity
• Amal Kumar Verma, IAS
  Amal Kumar Verma is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who served in various capacities in the state of Uttar Pradesh and the central government. He joined the IAS in 1976 and was allotted the UP cadre. He held important posts such as District Magistrate of Lucknow, Secretary of Agriculture, Principal Secretary of Finance, and Chief Secretary of UP. He also served as the Chairman of the UP Electricity Regulatory Commission and the UP State Planning Commission. He was known for his integrity, efficiency, and reform-oriented approach.
• Dr. Anoop Arpan
  Dr. Anoop Arpan is a multifaceted and visionary scholar, sociopreneur, author, and poet. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and two Masters degrees in Management and Information Science, which equip him with a broad and deep knowledge base. He has authored two books on management and two books on poetry, showcasing his expertise and creativity. He has also received numerous awards and recognitions from various prestigious government and non-government organizations for his social impact and innovation. Dr. Arpan is a leader who inspires others with his original and progressive thinking.
• Dr. Roopam Bachhil
  With a Ph.D. in Management and two Masters degrees in Statistics and Business Administration (HR), Dr. Roopam Bachhil is a versatile and accomplished academic leader. As the Registrar of “The Global Open University Nagaland”, she ensures the smooth and efficient operation of all academic activities. Dr. Bachhil is passionate about delivering quality education and fostering a culture of excellence at the university.
